It does look like it was taken a roof because judging from the background, it looks like whoever took the picture was not on the ground, but rather in an elevated place, like a roof.

- How large was the town/city’s Jewish population and how long had Nazis been living there?
- In Bulgaria, the Jewish population was around 48,000. - What was Jewish life/culture in the town/city like prior to the Nazi invasion?
- Prior to the Nazi invasion, Jewish life in Bulgaria was normal in culture, but life was discriminated. They were introduced to a number of legal restrictions, like voting and taking office. - Where is or was the town/city located?
- The town/city is located in Kyustendil, Bulgaria - When and how did the town/city come under Nazi rule?
-Bulgaria became under Nazi rule after Nazi Germany, being that it was a strong power at the time, requested for thousands of Jews to be deported for forced labor. - What was the fate of this particular town/city’s Jews during the Holocaust?
- The fate of Bulgaria's Jews during the Holocaust was that 12,000 Jews were deported to Poland and perished, while still 45,000 Jews, that weren't deported, survived the Holocaust.
