Macro-aggression are generalized insults against a group of people based on sexuality, race, gender, etc.
Keep a journal of observable and experienced macro and microaggressions in society. These journal entries can come from family, friends, school, TV, billboards, etc. Keep in mind what defines a micro and a macroaggression and take notice of what is around you. You are welcome to include images, snapshots or clips from items you see.

Macroaggression
- Someone said "You know what I'm sayin'", and then said "Man, I feel black," meaning that African Americans always say that.

Micro-aggression
- Coach said when he explained the basketball plays. "Comprende," referring to what Mrs. Cortez says.
-"Atticus said Calpurnia had more education than most colored people." - Called "Beached Whale" because of weight - Intelligent person being called a "calculator." - Believes one Asian kid eats only rice. |

Tolerance - To willingly accept something or someone
Diverse - Variety; different; multicultural
